Kelty Micro Chair
- Consumer and outdoor
A camp chair that unfolds itself instead of being assembled. Asked to model Kelty's concept, I replaced its many moving pivots with one larger central hub, then proved the motion in Fusion 360 and 3-D printed prototypes.

Human systems Case study
Virtis™ SNM
- Featured
- Medical devices
A self-initiated, no-budget redesign of a sacral neuromodulation clinician app that treated the software, the clinic, and the sales model as one system. Informal prototype testing showed a 62% improvement in task performance.

Neuromodulation Charging System
- Featured
- Medical devices
- Injection molding
A redesign of how patients recharge an implanted neurostimulator, treated as one product system: paddle, power pack, belt, and charging feedback. The paddle's final industrial design went to Engineering as two options before organizational limits stopped the work. Includes the Next Gen POP patient handheld concepts.

Human systems Case study
directSTIM™ DBS
- Medical devices
A clinician programmer for directional deep brain stimulation, built on a platform designed for the spine: I moved programming from an electrode grid to the brain itself, and the released programmer kept the design. The system received the CE Mark in 2019 and FDA approval for a US clinical study in 2022.

Nett Warrior Case and Mount (Sword International / Kägwerks)
- Defense and public safety
- Injection molding
A sealed, rugged case and fold-down chest mount for the Galaxy Note II that US Army Nett Warrior soldiers wear on their plate carriers, built to undercut the market leader on price, with a hinge designed for parachute-opening shock. I took the design from kickoff to finished in about six months; a manufacturing engineer completed the engineering for tooling, followed by a cast-urethane early production run.

COG Low-Profile EDC Sling
- Consumer and outdoor
- Cut and sew
A slim sling bag I designed for my own work travel, refined over a year of prototypes on my own sewing machines, then turned into a spec pack for production. PTS sells it as the Covert Operations Gear (COG) Low-Profile EDC Bag.

Cradl Case
- Featured
- Consumer and outdoor
- Injection molding
Dual-density iPhone and iPad cases for a first-time founder team, with sides that drop away so edge swipes still work. Designed in under a year for a CES launch; the drop-down sides became six US utility patents that name me as an inventor.

XTM® Modular Grip System
- Featured
- Defense and public safety
- Injection molding
A hand stop kit and textured rail covers that lock together with one snap-on interface, so grip, index, and cover work as one configurable system on a Picatinny rail. Seven US design patents; both products are still sold by Magpul.

Maglink®
- Featured
- Defense and public safety
- Injection molding
A two-piece polymer coupler that clamps two PMAGs together for a fast reload, molded four sets per shot. Designed end to end, it passed drop testing on the first try and is still sold by Magpul 14 years after launch.
